Once upon a time (okay, April 7th to be exact) I posted a thought. I asked what Personal Assistants to authors do and what they’re paid to do it. I’m still not 100% sure that I need one just yet but when a PM comes to you saying, “Hey Kitty, are you looking for a PA? I’m willing to help you and I don’t charge!” how can you refuse? When it comes from a sweet girl like Lisa Vitous who was first introduced to my writing by Sarah Blackburn PA, you jump at the chance.
So, I want to welcome Lisa Vitous to Kitty Berry Books as my 1st and only PA. Please give Lisa your warmest welcome and if you’re not yet friends with her here in Facebook-land, please be sure to send her a request as she might post things from her own page about me from time to time.
Lisa started reading when she was in middle school and has never looked back so she beat me out. I hated to read as a child! I didn’t start enjoying reading and doing it for pleasure until well into my twenties, after graduating from college. Lisa, like me reads romance but she also enjoys paranormal and mystery books. You never know, maybe she’ll get me to branch out of my comfort zone one of these days. In the words of Mr. Grey, my tastes are very…singular. I know you read that in his voice! I wrote it in his voice so…
Okay, back to Lisa. When she’s not reading, she enjoys spending her time being the world’s best Aunt to her nieces. She loves pizza and Italian food (a girl after my own heart) and like me, Lisa is a night owl. I’m sure our best brainstorming sessions will occur after hours when the rest of the world is fast asleep.
Lisa’s first task for me is to set up a “street team.” Everyone who responds to this post with a unique idea for a name for that team will win an ebook copy of one of The Stone Series (your pick) books. If Lisa and I go with your idea, hmmmm….I’m not sure yet but you’ll win something cool that’s for sure.
Okay, now…get thinking ladies and gents! Post your ideas for a “street team” name for me and be sure to say hello to my new PA…Lisa Vitous!
A piece of info about me...my favorite author that writes contemporary romance is Shayla Black
