Well, fall is here and in full force in New England. It was a good and long summer. I feel like I accomplished everything I set off to do as far as revising my series. Sliding took the longest and has the most changes. Characters that were not moving the series along were deleted, others were changed, and the plot saw a few new twists come it's way. Due to those changes, I had to go back into the rest of the series and make the necessary revisions. That took the rest of my summer and well into September. well, that and basketball!
Now that I'm back to my full time job as a teacher (sadly, my writing doesn't even buy groceries for one week in my house! Hey, it's not that bad...I have 3 teenage boys. Do you know what I spend a week on food?!!!) I am limited in time. I try to write each morning for about an hour while I have an empty house then if it's a good night I might get another hour after Zumba.
I'm back to writing Starting Over (book 8) and my mind is spinning with ideas. Stay tuned...
A piece of info about me...my favorite author that writes contemporary romance is Shayla Black
